Cash Management
- Public Sector

Government departments, semi-state companies and other agencies are all actively reviewing their Accounts Payable functions. This is primarily driven in response to ongoing Government directives for increased use of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). It is also prompted by the desire to maximise the value of existing systems, such as Oracle, SAP, Agresso and others, and replace manual tasks which are time consuming, prone to error and carry higher operational risks.

In this article Michael Concannon, AIB Customer Treasury Services, discusses the impact of the latest SEPA developments for the Public Sector.
